Southern Tier Raspberry Wheat Beer

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, and also a light acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and berries. The mouthfeel is very smooth, but the body a bit light.

From bottle, blind #25. Pours cloudy orange with a collapsing off-white head. Dense raspberry aroma. Dry flavoured, thin body and light fruity. Light fruity and dry finish. Lasting sodapop fruity flavoured into the far finish, vague estery note.

Light unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate strawberry - raspberry, sulfur. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090612]

Bottle #25 at Papsø’s blindtasting. Cloudy golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of raspberries. Sweet and fruity flavour of raspberries and oranges. Sweet finish. Light watery.

Hazy deep blond color. Quite artificial candy aroma, peach; sweetish; asparagus (?). Light mouthfeel, bad Lager with artificial flavoring. Bad.

(12oz bottle) Rocky, large white head atop particle-flecked but otherwise clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, raspberry sweetness without the tartness, light wheat. Taste is medium sweet, raspberry with some tartness, some grain, seltzer. Watery light body.

12oz bottle. Poured a light and clear yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of tart raspberries, wheaty, and wet grass. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thinner body.
