Commercial Description:
A golden wheat beer brewed with the finest North American malted barley and wheat. It’s then lightly hopped with the choicest European varieties. This smooth, crisp golden wheat beer is then finished with a hint of raspberry. Enjoy this beer any time of year.

(12oz bottle) Rocky, large white head atop particle-flecked but otherwise clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, raspberry sweetness without the tartness, light wheat. Taste is medium sweet, raspberry with some tartness, some grain, seltzer. Watery light body.

12oz bottle. Poured a light and clear yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of tart raspberries, wheaty, and wet grass. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thinner body.

12 ounce bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, NY (June 2007), served from a Unibroue glass at just slightly above fridge temperature. Pours a pale, quite clear gold with very little head and no retention or lacing to talk about....pretty typical fruit-lite nose, hints of wheaty sourness but all in all like a watery soda....aaaaaand guess what this impression pretty much carries through in the flavor department, though some nice biscuity malt and a touch of tartness save it a bit; the fruit seems pretty artificial, dry and dessicated....mouthfeel is ok, body isn’t as thin as I might expect. Still, I’m about to give up on this brewery; a few really solid products, but most of what I’ve had lately could have been made by just anybody.

Straw color with a diminishing white head. Raspberry aromas with a hint of apple skin and the slightest amount of malt in the backdrop. Quite sweet in the start with raspberry syrup and dries out, until the finishes, which seems to be like a dry raspberry flavored sparkling water. Quite different. I like how it dries out and becomes quenching verses sugary and sticky. This is a good hot summer day type brew. To be honest not much of a beer, but a decent drink to slake your thirst and it looks like a standard pale lager.

Bottle from Capone’s. Medium gold pour with a big raspberry aroma, some hopcit, and some pale malt. The flavor, complexity, and body are lacking in this. Some raspberry and slight pale malt and hopcitrus are in the flavor. Probably the worst brew i’ve had from these guys.
