I am completely against this beer being in Southern Tiers mix pack... I had one after an evening soccer game and would have had a second had i had another cold, but in the same scenario in the middle of the winter, i would have poured it down the drain... It is a bit overbearing on the raspberry, but it is quite quenching, and i rather liked in that scenario.... Archibaldo de la Cruz (424), Finland

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 28, 2009 I Love Southern Tier i just wish the LCBO would get some common sense and pick some of there really good beers instead of just there really mediocre beers. As far as raspberry wheat beers go, this one has pretty weak game but I still enjoyed it. Pours a weak fizzy yellow with a thin white head which instantly dies. The aroma as you can imagine is raspberry syrup, and maybe the lightest hints of grassy hops. The flavour is pretty much the same with a sweet raspberry flavour upfront, some dry wheat in the middle, and then just carbonation flavour in the end. Pretty flippin one dimensional, may aswell have not even bothered to call this a wheat beer, but still not offensive in anyway. ChrisThomson (415), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Bottle. Not a terrible beer, but nothing I would want to try again. Big raspberry nose, and flavour is sweet, mild malts, acidic notes and more raspberry. Nothing to get excited about here. jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 12, 2008 12oz, from sampler, This is a girlfriend brew, it smells like raspberries, and tastes like raspberries with that grassy wheat finish that has no bitterness to scare away normal macro drinkers....easy and sweet to drink, ABV listed @ 4.5. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada

very fruity scent. Actually sickingly fruity. Nice head with some cling. Taste is very un-beer like. Tastes like something Willy Wonka made. Very sweet. Too sweet. No beer taste left. I’m sure some out there love that, but I much prefer my beer tasting like beer. On a positive note very easy to drink, goes down remarkably smooth and I could see drinking this alot during the summer, but I wouldn’t satisfy a good beer urge. cfrancis (372), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Pours a clear straw yellow, with white head and minimal lacing. Aroma is light raspberry and wheat. Taste is rather thin with a zest of raspberry and wheat. I would recommend this beer during the summer on a patio. Much like most wheat or fruit beers. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Pours a very light and very translucent golden colour with a mild white head. The aroma is almost solely raspberry, with a bit of hop herbs as well. The taste is quite weak and almost solely raspberry, not much balance here. The palate is both watery and weak with next to no aftertaste. Not a bad alcopop, hard to consider it a beer though.
