Gold pour with heavy white head. Nose of fresh citrus and lemon grass with sweet bready malts and spice. Flavor is more citrus with lemon grass that brightens even more. Sweet bread malts, yeast and spice. Good carb. Sweet, but clears out well.

Draft at High Flyters. Some haze in this golden beer and a one finger white head. I smell oranges but did not taste it. Sweet malts, too. Those malts were tasted first and had a powdery feel that continuted throughout. Flavors of lemon and coriander with earth. Big sweetness that relented somewhat mid glass when a dry bitterness emerged. No Belgian influences that I found. This become somewhat authentic for a saison but is too sweet.

3/2/15. 750mL bottle from an ABC in Jax, Belgian style super saison? MJ must love this! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring and laces moderately. Huge spice aroma, too much, one dimensional phenolics with no funk or farm, sweet orange, hay. Overly sweet flavor, a bit chalky, sweet cream, banana, doughy. Meh.

A big sweet cloying mess. Aroma was OK.Bubble gum, light grass and honey. Pour was a nice light gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was WAY too sweet. Sweet malt, honey and alcohol with a decent saison yeast backbone. Sweet wet sticky aftertaste with very little to no carbonation. Didn’t finish the bottle

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light lemongrass notes with some sweet Belgian style malt notes also noticeable. Taste is dominated by a mix of light lemongrass notes with a rather sweet Belgian style malt base with light bready and yeasty ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Too sweet for its own good IMHO.

Pours a hazy amber from a bottle with significant effervescence. Aroma is a bread dough, with grass and some kind of light sugar candy, not cotton candy, but maybe just rock candy. Flavor is a nice malty breadiness with some light spice, coriander and lemongrass maybe. A pleasant burn at the end. Very good beer.

(bottle - 22 oz) Cloudy gold with a big and fizzy white head. Dry grass and spice aroma with a good yeast backbone. Flavor is very dry at the start with a mild spice coming up near the middle. Dry and yeasty finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a big foamy white head that lingers well. Light aroma, spice and yeast, with sugar, grass, and malt. Richer taste, sharp, spicy, and sweet, with malt, caramel, baking spices, and ending with creamy brown sugar. Lingering sweet spices. Nice.

[6918-20141121] Bottle. Mild meaty fruity grains aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Fruity yeast flavour. Medium body. Good, easy to drink. (7/4/8/3/15) 3.7

bottled, huge thanks to skykob for bringing this bomber back from the states. hazy bright light orange-coloured with a lingering, fluffy white head; aroma of curacao, yeast funk, green peppercorns; soft texture, no way i would believe it was a double saison; beautiful balance of barny funk, citrus, minerals and fresh herbs. probably my favourite new beer of 2014
