Draught @ Albion. Slightly cloudy bright yellow with very small frothy white head, doughy aroma with citrus at the background, low carbonation, sweet starting citrusy taste with little hops influence, medium tart finish. More tart than hoppy.

commonmac (642) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Bottle purchased at Surdyk’s and consumed in a Belgian snifter glass with commonshawn. Effervescence abounds. Aroma is aligned with a standard saison. Spices and citrus with floral qualities. Light straw golden with a decent froth. Taste is much more full bodied than a normal saison. A nice Belgian yeast funk with a healthy alcohol bite at the finish. Citrus and spices (lemongrass as the label suggests) reign supreme. Pleasantly impressed by this beer. Much like Shakespeare I feel compelled to wax poetic.

Big bottle from surdyks with commonmac. Light gold with very thick very bubbly head. Extremely effervescent. Lemon and flowery nose. Oily and good body for a saison. Some citrus peel bitterness, some other fruitiness . Pear or apple. Finish is really nice. Shakespeare would be proud.

Big bottle into goblet. Good thick foamy head that has good retention. Aroma of yeast, lemon, and hay. Complex spritzy layered taste - first sensation is slightly tart and hoppy, moving to malt and green apple with notes of citrus and perhaps slightly bananry finish with hints of lavender. Some of the saison funk. Very enjoyable and recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I poured it from the bottle into a chalice. It pours golden with a big white head and lacing. The aroma is banana, clove, spice, and orange peel. The taste is banana, clove, and orange. The aftertaste is boozy. The mouth feel is full with moderate carbonation. The saison label was a bit misleading in my opinion. This was a quality beer though.

Pours fairly clear bright yellow with a white head. The aroma has fall leaves, herbs, light bread, pils malt, saison earth and light stone fruit. It has a medium rich body that’s pretty big for a saison with mild carbonation. The flavor starts with rich full malt, milk caramel, saison earth, lemongrass, spice and a bit of alcohol. The finish has more spiciness, sulfur and some rough earthiness. Okay saison, but definitely Americanized.

Gold pour with heavy white head. Nose of fresh citrus and lemon grass with sweet bready malts and spice. Flavor is more citrus with lemon grass that brightens even more. Sweet bread malts, yeast and spice. Good carb. Sweet, but clears out well.

Draft at High Flyters. Some haze in this golden beer and a one finger white head. I smell oranges but did not taste it. Sweet malts, too. Those malts were tasted first and had a powdery feel that continuted throughout. Flavors of lemon and coriander with earth. Big sweetness that relented somewhat mid glass when a dry bitterness emerged. No Belgian influences that I found. This become somewhat authentic for a saison but is too sweet.

3/2/15. 750mL bottle from an ABC in Jax, Belgian style super saison? MJ must love this! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring and laces moderately. Huge spice aroma, too much, one dimensional phenolics with no funk or farm, sweet orange, hay. Overly sweet flavor, a bit chalky, sweet cream, banana, doughy. Meh.
