COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Don’t let Tripel’s light color and delicate aroma fool you, this is one serious beer brewed with maximum effort. First, we introduce freshest barley to crystal filtered water. Second, we add the best hops shipped directly for Europe. Third, our special yeast is the catalyst for fermentation, gobbling sugar and creating alcohol as it works. Some say that the Belgian monks who first brewed this style called it triple to denoted its high alcohol content. Still others believe triple’s origins lay in its triple fermentation; twice in the brewery and once in the bottle. Whatever the answer, ours is the Tripel threat.

22oz bottle from notes. Really disappointing tripel here. Pours out a decent golden color, but seems to be lacking depth, which is a common theme. Aromas are light, that yeasty sweeter edge I want isn’t there. Palate follows with a little more disapointment, thin with a strange acidic finish. Jumbled palate makes me think this is just some soft of belgian pale strong that went wrong.

Hazy gold amber beer. Short lived white head. Light airy and semi soft palate. Creamy orange and tangerine. Light appley spice. Finishes dry and creamy. Different, tasty and very drinkable. Made with coriander, curucao and orange peel.

Bottled. A hazy dark gold coloured beer with a small white head. A spicy yeasty aroma with reasonable hop levels. Good perfumed floral spicy flavours with Belgian yeasty notes. A decent tripel with a definite US twist.
