Commercial Description:
Don't let Tripel's light color and delicate aroma fool you, this is one serious beer brewed with maximum effort. First, we introduce freshest barley to crystal filtered water. Second, we add the best hops shipped directly for Europe. Third, our special yeast is the catalyst for fermentation, gobbling sugar and creating alcohol as it works. Some say that the Belgian monks who first brewed this style called it triple to denoted its high alcohol content. Still others believe triple's origins lay in its triple fermentation; twice in the brewery and once in the bottle. Whatever the answer, ours is the Tripel threat.

Bottle that was ever so graciously shared by nolankowal: Hazy golden orange in color with an off white head. Aroma, bready, some pale malts, yeast, and a vegetal note to it. Flavor, bready, that odd vegetable taste, yeasty, some spices to it, kinda tangy, and a metallic finish. I did not enjoy this.

Thanks to Blake. light copper orangish color w/ a whispy white head. Spiced nose good amount of yeast notes light peppers. Palate is well coated and full nicely carbonated. Flavor is almsot overly sweet lots of candied sugars and carmels some light fruit notes a bit of a perfume like hop and a light pepper. Pretty Good.

22 oz bottle split two ways. Clear golden/light amber in color, looks like it was filtered. Aroma is light spice, malts, sugar. Taste is light spice notes, with belgian malts and sugar. A very drinkable beer, but not what I consider an authentic tripel at all.

Bomber. Clear and freshly polished bronze in color with fizz rising to feed a whipped, frothy white head. Easy sweet aroma of coriander and musty basements gets things going, complimented by lemon tainted buttermilk pancake mix, some steel reserves and dry orange peel backed over baguettes. Big flavorful quest brings out chewy vanilla graham pudding, like flavor, like substance. Dry, hot tongue flair from the get-go. Baguettes with rose hips and a lavender, freesia sense. Buttery lemon grass with dynamic, doughy croissants. Great carbonation levels and built to hold up over time, but perhaps the pilsener malt comes out a little too strongly in its present state. Thick canola oil infused with aged coriander seed lends to a harsh buttery bite in the end. Quite clean and quite bitter, elevating this one to the more massive end of the tripel spectrum. Finish digresses only slightly with cackled white pepper and a touch of ethanol.

Pours a thin golden body with almost no head. Aroma is candy, yeast, and alcohol. It was almost stale, which is unfortunate because I know this beer was a new shipment to the beer store I got it from. Hints of lighter fruits as well. The flavor was the same, with the same stale nature, but at least it was a step up. It avoided being bad, but there was not nearly enough to consider it good. To its credit, I can’t believe this was 9%. It went down like nothing. One of the worst Tripels I’ve had.

22oz Bottle. Light gold hazy color. Lacking in Tripel flavor. Not much when compared to top Belgians. Stick to the Hop monsters

Orange body with a thin white head. Caramel and tangerine nose. Sweet upfront flavor with a yeasty twang. Finish is dry with lingering citrus. A flavor that is like having a penny in your mouth is a bit distracting in this. Alcohol is noticeable in this. Ap- 3 ar- 6 tas-4 pal-2 ov-9

Pours a clear, honey-golden/amber with slick legs under a fluffy, yellowhite head that settles rocky and laces sticky. Light butterscotch under cheesish yeasts in the aroma. Honey-smooth with a light tingle. Hops present in the flavor with bitter citrics after a wonderfully sweet apple pie start. Flavor lasts a long while despite mild astringence. Additional herbals rear late. Very nice.
