Commercial Description:
Don't let Tripel's light color and delicate aroma fool you, this is one serious beer brewed with maximum effort. First, we introduce freshest barley to crystal filtered water. Second, we add the best hops shipped directly for Europe. Third, our special yeast is the catalyst for fermentation, gobbling sugar and creating alcohol as it works. Some say that the Belgian monks who first brewed this style called it triple to denoted its high alcohol content. Still others believe triple's origins lay in its triple fermentation; twice in the brewery and once in the bottle. Whatever the answer, ours is the Tripel threat.

bottle. Pleasantly suprise by this one. Thicker and bolder than most tripels. Darker than expected. Underrated.

Err, not real good. The worst of the variety pack. Just didn’t have that crisp taste I was looking for. Pass.

Thanks Winston for picking this up for me!

Pour is slightly hazy golden color with a thinner head, especially for the style. Fruit dominates the aroma, banana, orange, citrus, lemon. Flavor is light bodied, not what I’d expect from the style. Kind of a tangy flavor but the flavors really don’t scream out at you. It’s hard to describe this beer. All of the elements are there with the exception of the flavor. One of the easiest drinking and least challenging tripels I’ve ever had.

variety pack bottle, apparerently only avaiable on draft and in the variety packs. surprisingly mild for a belgian style, with some neutral spice notes and plenty of alcohol (9%) to go around. as far as belgian beer goes, drinkable at best.

22oz bottle. Pours golden orangish in color with thin white head. Aroma sweet and citrus hops. Taste yeasty, orange and malt with bitter finish.

Hazy, straw colored, with a smallish white head. Nose is sweet, with some grassy hop notes, some honey, and a bit of citric hop aroma that seems out of place. Way too bitter for the style. Rather musty, with some grass and earth notes in there, as well as some very faint hints of orange. Not very sweet. Very much off-style, but a decent beer nonetheless

Doughy malt aroma. Golden color with a finger of white foam. Light caramel taste with a smooth finish. Palate is very creamy. Alcohol not noticable.
