bp (308), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle: pours a golden amber color with a thin white head, aroma is very hoppy and maybe a little sweet, taste has some intial hop flavor upfront and then seems to mellow before leaving a bit of a hop aftertaste. This is a nice brew. Very easy drinker.

Pours a glowing clear orange with small head. Smell is malty milky caramel and subtle hops. Taste is the same and quite malty with a light almost aged flavor about it. Faded hops. Found this to be much better than the Imperial Weizen, but still not particularly great. No alcohol presence in the taste, at least and a solid flavor. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 29, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Clear golden with a dense and creamy off-white head. Aroma of fruit, hops and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with sweet malts and fruit and a very solid hop bite. Solid but unrefined. 210908 MAP (894), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Sep 27, 2008 Clean glassy yellow body with a thick white head. Aroma is heavy hop happiness. The wheat helps bring out some lemony notes, as well as the usual citrus floral notes. The nice thing about this is that it doesn’t hit you with all the hops your mouth can handle, its got a great smoothness and a real solid viscous mouthfeel. lemasney (297), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Sep 27, 2008 Style and Glass: American Strong, Trappist, Weizen
