Aroma jumps at you after opening the bottle, very thick, very fruity, sweet, sugar, hoppy, just lovely. Flavour is sweet, fruity, with oranges, stonefruits and grapefruit, ending in a nice mellow bitter finish that lingers a bit. Fullbodied, soft creamy mouthfeel. Wellbalanced and very tasty beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2009 22 oz. bottle from Ludlow Wines. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head that laces the glass a little bit. Aroma of wheat, pale malts, floral hops, yeast, alcohol, and a fruitiness that I can’t place. The flavor is smooth and balanced, a nice blend of all of the above elements. Sweet, bitter, crisp, and refreshing. The alcohol is present but not overwhelming. Smooth, with a light-medium body and dry finish. Nice beer. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA

Aroma is fruit, with a bit of floral/pine hops. Taste is a weak fruit/malt/hop characteristic - a bit watery, to be honest. Just OK. mjs (1483), Helsinki, Finland

Deep clear golden color, creamy white head, lace. Sticky barley and wheat aroma. Grassy hoppy, alcoholic, wheaty, some fruityness, but overall quite dry. Aftertaste has alcohol and light bitterness. Something similar to German weizenbocks but otherwise very American.
