22 oz bottle is 9.5%. Pours a clear bright orange caramel color with whit head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is malt and a mild piney hop complexity. Flavor is straight ahead dipa. Almost nothing definitive aside from the generalized profile of dipa to set it apart. Maybe itís because I had some Stone RuinTen just before this. A decent beer.

Again, donít get this one. Pours a golden color with white head. Floral on the nose, almost too much so; same for the palate. Was like drinking a flower. Also, finishes way too sweet. Like a sugar bomb.

Bother pour. Clean amber, thin head. Orange, glazed donuts, pine resin and young whiskey on nose. Some great. Medium body. Taste follows. Mild booze. Heat throughout.

Back-dating this one from memory. Bottle to glass. Have had this many times, but never rated it. I think itís an under-rated double IPA honestly. Pours golden yellow and a bit cloudy. Aroma bursting with citrus, pine, earth, and floral. Taste is balanced nicely with the fruits and pine and a lingering bitter. A bit dry to finish. I did taste some of the alcohol though, I didnít think it was well masked, but this is a superb beer.

From the 650 ml. bottle. I have been meaning to try this one for awhile. The pour is medium amber orange with a quick living white fizzy head. All those earthy hops on the nose! It really feels deep. The body is medium to full. The taste has a nice malty fee with a full hoppy feel. This gets decent ratings for a reason.

Golden orange with small off white head. Pine and citrus hop aroma. Medium full body. Just a bit of alcohol. Flavor is resiny hops, sweet up front, dry finish, reasonable malt balance. Fairly smooth. Nice overall.

22oz bottle from a Wegmanís in Buffalo, NY. A treat saved for the last night of this trip, as Iíve been impressed by this brewery.

An attractive golden amber pour with a loose off-white head; the aroma is soft and enticing with some citrus, woody notes, apricots, and soused raisins all coming through; equally itís luxurious in the mouth, soft and oily, and very vinuous, you can taste the alcohol, but it doesnít burn; the finish is syrupy, but also has fresh lemon so that itís not cloying. Definitely a beer to savour and sip slowly all evening, and as it happens an excellent accompaniment to a plate of strong cheeses and dried fruit.

Definitely has a hoppy smell, but there are more layers to it - not just a hop bomb. Aggressive but not overly sweet malt bill to balance things out. Nice natural grassy aroma. Pours a dark golden color with a lot of carbonation and a fairly large white head of foam. Nice, refreshing, easy drinking taste. Hops are present, but subdued - you can barely tell itís a DIPA. Honey-like taste in the background, sort of like Bells Hopslam. Great served cold on a hot summer day. I could drink this one out of the bottle while barbecuing. Palate is just oily/slick enough, just fizzy enough. Again, a great balance. I really enjoyed this one; I will be sure to remember it. Sometimes you donít want a hop assault, you just want a nice refreshing beer. While other DIPAs are all trying to outdo one another to see who can have the most hop bitterness, Unearthly has carved out a niche as being the easy drinking one. Well done, Southern Tier.

Bomber, from Slider's Sports Bar in West Hartford, CT. Clear orange amber pour with a light khaki head. Nose is pine with earthy hops and sweet citrus. Orange and pineapple come through with a mild caramel malt. Taste is very hoppy, pine and citrus. Orange and a pineapple, caramel sweetness. Good stuff.
