I donít understand why itís an imperial India pale ale. I think it may be forging new ground. This rich, stately, tour de force is the one beer to have if youíre having only one - because itís intense and two will kick your butt.

Pours a copper color with tons of floaters. No head at all. Just a little cling of white to the edge of the glass. A sweet grainy aroma. Carbonation is low. Taste starts a bit sweet and grainy and then finishes with orange pith. Lots of alcohol in the finish.

Poured from a bomber into my pint glass. This bottle says 9.5%. First drink was a blast of flavors, sweet then hops, made my ears warm. I think a new category of beer should be started for this, Imperial orange IPA. Well Fín Done!!

23oz bottle pours a pale brown color with a bit of head. Piney hop flavors but a little boozy.

12 oz. Bottle. From craft 12 pack with Gemini and 2xipa. Nice hop. Need to ease into it. But refreshed quite well. Definitely a top ipa.

Pours a cloudy gold with no head retention and minimal lacing. What it lacks in appearance it more than makes up for in aroma and taste. Smells of alcohol, citrus and pine. Outstanding!

Pours a hazy orange amber colour with nice white head and lots of lacing. Nice floral aroma with malty background. Nice floral flavor with a mild citrus hop taste in middle. A good beer.

On tap at Waxys. Dark amber with a small head. Thick and a bit sticky with good carbonation. Aroma is floral and malt. Flavor is a good balance of hop bitterness and sweet malt. Lots of nice hop citrus and grassy flavors. Very good, but I had no idea the abv was as high as it is while drinking this.

I could swear the alcohol is back to 9. something but I could be wrong. Being from NY this is an imperial if any I can get from some convenient stores and usually offered in the supermarkets with bombers. It has a nice aroma and hop flavors of pine and citrus well balanced but the malt is a little thin.
