Clear copper colour with ample head. Aroma of citrus and alcohol. While not a bad beer, I found it a bit too sweet and boozy...maybe needs some age, maybe 11% is just too much for this style of beer.

Poured into a snifter. 3.0 A: Clear medium orange color. One finger of frothy off-white head. Retention is a touch below average and not much lacing is left. 3.5 S: Piney and citrusy hops. Lots of orange with some lime underneath. Clover honey, caramel, earth, and biscuit malts. 4.0 T: The taste is grander than the nose. Sugary with candied oranges, potent lime, and some lemon too. Caramel, honey, moderate bitterness. Again biscuit malts. 3.75 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Nice creaminess to it. Potent bitter aftertaste. 3.75 D: Southern Tier has an awesome big beer lineup and this fits in well. Solid all around. ★ 662 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 25, 2015

Sweet malt hoppyness that tingles your whole mouth and keeps building to a plateau that fades to hops and a malty caramel sweetness that lingers just right. This is really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells of sweet malts followed by slight hop scent. Nice medium gold color. Taste is very malty followed by a slight hint of hops at the very very end. Very unbalanced beer. Slight booze flavor coming through through out the Flavor skeem but slightly boosey. Love your beer this one just a bit strong.

Bomber pour at home, with no date on the bottle. Pours a nice clear orangish color A bit malt forward for me, but it may be due to an older bottle - but I don’t know since I don’t have a date. Nice lingering bittering taste. Solid beer.

Aroma is a complex mix of pine, fruit, caramel/mild sweetness and hop resin. The flavor is grapefruit, caramel malts, hop resin, mild sweetness and a mix of spicy, bitter and slight alcohol finish.

Sweet and piney aroma with strong bits of malt. Ok amber color with some chunks floating around. Nice immediate hop flavor, but quickly fades away to strong malt through the after taste.

650ml bottle with a hefty 11%. This beer doesn’t hide it, and it doesn’t have to. Strong in every sense with a good balance and nice aromas of resin and earth. I like.
