22 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a clear copper color. The head is a fluffy one-finger off-white shade. It has the typical look I expect from the head of an IPA - good texture, decent retention (not the best among the style, though), and nice lacing left behind. S: First, I get bittersweet grapefruit with piny hints. The hops also bring some herbal hints. However, itís as malty as I expected - thatís not really a bad thing, though. There is a ton of caramel, toffee, and sugar cookie, also. It might be a bit sweet for me, otherwise the aroma really works well. T: Just like I expected, itís a sweet IPA. If thereís any proof that a shitload of IBUís (this has 150 supposedly) doesnít equal a bitter beer, this is it. A slight opening of sweet grapefruit and orange gives way to a finish of peach, caramel, toffee; maybe some black pepper, too. Itís faintly boozy, but all that sweetness does a good job of concealing it. There is no bitterness to this at all...I really feel like just a touch more would take this one M: While it has an initial crisp bite that (along with decent carbonation) helps it go down easily, the sweetness accumulates on the palate. Itís a bit too heavy on the palate, as well. Otherwise, O: This is so close to being a great DIPA, so close. The malt is handled well, the bitterness is nicely restrained, and the hops have a nice flavor to them. But at the end of the day, itís just too sweet. 22 oz is way too much for this one. Iíll absolutely drink this again, and hopefully, Iíll have someone to split it with.

Pours a cloudy amber orange with a one finger off white head with decent lacing. Aroma is of pine, citrus, sweet malts, caramel, and some herbal hops. Taste is pine, citrus, herbal hops, sweet malts, caramel, pepper, and some rye. Has a medium body with a oily, semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty tasty, well balanced DIPA that lean east coast style.

Pours partly tan cloudy. Minimal head. Smells of spice and citrus. Bitter muted alcohol taste. Lingers bitter on palate, weak finish. Ok IIPA, but wish it tasted better.

Pours clear light amber, with small persistent head. Aroma is herbal with mild citrus. Taste has a strong malt punch, warmth of alcohol, and good balance. Nice Imperial!

12oz bottle from mix 12. Pours a cloudy golden amber, with a small whie head. Smells of sweet resinous hops, with the sweetness being especially strong. Taste pretty much follows with a relatively bitter taste being beaten by the alcohol at the finish. Relatively light bodied with good carbonation, leaves quite a resinous taste in your mouth.

On draft. Amber color with one finger head. Resiny and sweet malt taste. You can taste the alcohol slightly. A big beer and a good one

Clear, greenish tan, from the looks of things in a dark room. Muted, fresh, tangy aroma. Slightly savory up front, a little citrus gel, hoppy but not a bomb, some off starchy-veggie notes but not a major flaw. Tight carbonation, a generally crisp mouthfeel and finish. Pretzel tones at the end, amidst an overall hoppy-boozy thing. Ok, good, but just another 2xAIPA. On tap, Baby Proof, day before Thanksgiving.

I donít understand why itís an imperial India pale ale. I think it may be forging new ground. This rich, stately, tour de force is the one beer to have if youíre having only one - because itís intense and two will kick your butt.

Pours a copper color with tons of floaters. No head at all. Just a little cling of white to the edge of the glass. A sweet grainy aroma. Carbonation is low. Taste starts a bit sweet and grainy and then finishes with orange pith. Lots of alcohol in the finish.

Poured from a bomber into my pint glass. This bottle says 9.5%. First drink was a blast of flavors, sweet then hops, made my ears warm. I think a new category of beer should be started for this, Imperial orange IPA. Well Fín Done!!
