Poured a dark nightly black with lacing tan head. Aroma is full of caramel vanilla cinnamon and roasted pumpkin. Taste is sweet but not as overpowering as the punking. Great great beer and will definitely have again

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a dark brown with a frothy sized off white head. Pumpkins, spices, roast, and chocolate. More pumpkin in the smell and more spices in the tastes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a deep brown with thin, diminishing beige head and no lace. Nose of vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, roasted malt. Pretty much smells like Pumking with roasted malt. Medium body. Too light in body and malt flavor to be an imperial stout. Light roast flavor but dominated by pie spice and vanilla. Its good but if I’m going to have an over the top pumpkin pie flavored beer I’ll stick to the King. Easy drinking for 8.6%

Pours an opaque black from the bottle with bubbly tan head that leaves light lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, graham cracker and chocolate. Taste follows, like a chocolate pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust. Nice.

Near black pour with a beige head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is very similar to Pumking. Pumpkin pie and vanilla are prevalent. Taste again is similar to Pumking, but with a slightly bitter roast character. Body is a bit thin for me. It’s a nice pumpkin beer, but I prefer Pumking between the 2. I think it could use more stout character.

Draft pour into an English pint glass. Pours a darker brown to black with a beige head of foam. Aroma is sort of spicy and creamy and chocolatey. Tastes like a chocolate covered gingerbread cookie. Quite tasty. Creamy mouthfeel.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Completely missing the imperial stout body and flavor. Just by looks it looks like a big bodied dark imperial stout. However, I got a carrot cake spice and a grainy carrot cake taste. If you want your beer to taste one dimensional like that then this beer is exactly what your looking for.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pumpkin, spice, and a nutty quality address the nose. It pours a dark, near opaque brown with a 1/2", quickly diminishing, tan head and modest lacing. Roasted malts, nuts, pumpkin, and spice with a spicy, slightly bitter finish comprise the flavor. Medium-full body with moderate carbonation. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Overall, a rewarding pumpkin imperical stout.

Do yourself a favor and drink this beer now! One of the best, if not the best, pumpkin beers I have ever tasted. Makes me rock hard
