This is not your typical review. Hands down the best beer I have ever had. So sweet and so seductive.Unfortunately it is breaking the bank. I’ve bought 4 cases(at 116.00 a case after tax) and around 20 separate bottles(@12.00 a piece). I only have 8 bottles left. Of course I let everyone I know have at least one bottle. If only I could take donations. Well drink’em while you can. They’re almost gone!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Bomber shared compliments of neohippie...thanks for this wonderful tasting beverage. To me not really an imperial stout but more of a fruit/vegetable/herb category. Medium body. The aroma is pumpkin pie and pecan pie blend. Very nutty and aromatic. The flavor is pumpkin pie, crust and all and that nuttiness. Alcohol well hidden but you still get the warmth for it.

22oz bomber into goblet. Pour is black with a finger width of tan head forming afterwards. Aroma is sweet pumpkin with some roasty and vanilla notes. Taste is similar to Pumking but with added roasty chocolate flavors. Dry finish. Full bodied. Pretty damn good as a dessert after a home cooked meal.

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours an inky black color. Nice nose of spiced pumpkin bread with a slight roasty component. I was thinking this wouldn’t be a good flavor combination. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it. Overall on the sweet side, but not cloying. Light cocoa powder notes to go with a heavily spiced pumpkin bread and a slightly floral, bitter finish. Not too heavy on the tongue. Nice holiday dessert beer.

On tap at Sugar Maple. Dark brown with a brown crown and minimal lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, vanilla, chocolate and strong mace. Taste is over-maced with roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla and some nutmeg. Spicy finish.

Black color with a small head. Aroma of cocoa and pumpkin. Dark cocoa flavor. Very earthy, from both hops and pumpkin. Nutmeg and some other spices. Full bodied, very dry finish. I may be a heretic, but I think I might prefer this to Pumpking.

Brown/black pour with tan head. Aroma is pumpkin, a touch of anise, and some allspice. Flavor is a chocopumkincoffee pie with a nice bitter finish. Really it is like drinking all these things. Not really sweet but really unique. A sweetish middle. nice beer in moderation

Good stuff. Not quite up to Pumking - but a good alternate. Less on the "pumpkin pie in a bottle" smell and impression
