2.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Kevin! Deep brown, edging on black with a khaki foam that settles quickly to a collar. Aroma is very nice; warm nutmeg, cinnamon spice, crispy graham cracker, light ginger, & a hint of roast & cocoa underneath. Taste is similar with lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, graham cracker, & finishing cocoa. There’s an inherent bitterness I could do without, almost like a heavy dirt or ash with high astringency. The aroma is kick ass, though. It smells like I want it to taste, but it doesn’t taste "stout-y" enough for me. Still resembles regular Pumking too much on the palate, with only slight "stout" notes & an unwarranted harshness about it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass.
App.: Very deep brown with a so-so tan head.
Aroma: Strong cinnamon, lighter clove, a little nutmeg and ginger?, a touch buttery, like fruit cake more than pumpkin pie, not getting much stout aroma.
Palate: Medium-full body, fairly creamy with restrained carbonation.
Flav.: Quite spicy with plenty of cinnamon, and some lighter clove, nutmeg and ginger, still has a slightly buttery Christmas cake impression with little stout character; sweet with moderate bitterness and a fairly long spice cake finish.
The base beer is big enough to handle the spice load. Still not something I would seek out.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Wilbur’s. Appearance: finger tan head, good lacing, head does not last, black/ opaque. Aroma: licorice, light spice, hidden pumpkin notes. Palate: full body, average carbonation, bitter finish, oily texture. Taste: sweet chocolate chips, with pumpkin sneaking up, with spicy notes of hops, finishing with a little bit of licorice and bitterness. Overall, great lasting taste, very subtle undertones, lovely beer, awesome combination of pumpkin and chocolate. Really enjoy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thin black pour with a small head. Spicy cinnamon aroma. Sweet caramel toffee aroma. Slight candy corn smell. Definitely better better than Pumking. Tastes sort of like a candy corn dipped in chocolate. Minor corn taste.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cinnamon is quite powerful and hides every other flavours. Taste is also dominated by loads of cinnamon and other spices leaving little spices to roasted malt and/or black chocolate notes or even pumpkins. Body is below average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I get the concept of this beer but this just lack overall balances.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Super dark color. Super sweet with cinnamon and pumpkin nose. Taste of sweet, sugar, caramel, pumpkin. Not a beer you’d drink all night but very good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Near black with a light brown head that fades quickly. Smells like a pumpkin spice candle but the flavor adds a nice roastiness. Dry and spicy. I like it more than pumking.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Jet black with a solid head. Chocolate malt aroma. Then there is the raw pumpkin taste, all vegetable and no pie. The sweetness of the malt and lactose moderate the bite of the pumpkin. However, I am had hoped for more secondary spices to come forward to add flavor to the pumpkin. All in all, a decent stout mixed with pumpkin without purpose.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This one grew on me very slowly. I had to drink it three times before I actually liked it. The pumpkin spice flavor is agreeable but tastes very artificial as well. Almost like a kids drink. Has a nice chestnut flavor from the malts though. Glad I tried it but won’t get again probably. Spicy though which was cool with a stout

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to beer tulip. The pour is dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is complete pumpkin pie spice and roast. The taste is very similar with a decent base stout a bit overpowered by the spice. The finish is decently carbed and slick. Not the best pumpkin stout but not the worst.
