4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Pours transparent black with a slight desert tan head. Aroma is primarily of pie spices backed with a roasted quality. At first taste my palate is swept away by a large spice character followed closely by the taste of a slightly overdone pie crust. The roasted quality of the malt intertwines magnificently with the spices to form a unique flavor reminiscent of a fine pastry. The body is absolutely perfect. Pumpking is outdone by the complexity of Warlock. Have another? Its impossible to say no when I’m subdued by liquid black magic.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle. Pours brown amber with a medium creamy light tan head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is cinnamon toast, ginger, roast chocolate, and a little pumpkin.
The flavor is sweet roast chocolate malts with some fruity pumpkin and a lot of pumpkin spice (esp cinnamon) and a little black licorice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an interesting spiced pumpkin stout.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber pours with a deep amber body that supports a dark tan head of foam. The big brash aroma kicks up cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger as well as lesser notes of graham cracker, pumpkin and vanilla with a thin ring of chocolate. The taste is big and full with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger spiky spiciness filled in by modest smooth slick sweet malts and vanilla. It later picks up graham cracker, pumpkin and chocolate heading to midway. Interesting brew. This could use the spices toned down some in order to improve the experience.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tampa possibly. Dark brown pour but it was a touch thinner than expected. Great aroma of toasted pumpkin seeds (or possibly basmati rice), vanilla, and some all spice. Flavor loses some of the sweetness and brings in some espresso bitterness. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A little transparent for an imperial stout, and there’s not much of a head on this one. The pumpkin is used tastefully and blends well with the rich chocolate and roasted malt flavors.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle pour, very thin head, deep black, minimal lacing. Nice pumpkin aroma of malts and pumpkin, but downhill from there.. Bitter taste doesn't mask high gravity, funky tastes don't quite mesh, poor finish leaves bad aftertaste. I enjoy imperial stouts, but this didn't work for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours an inky black with a small off-white head. A lot of pumpkin in the nose, with pumpkin pie spices, malt, dark chocolate, wood. Taste starts sharp and bitter, with malt and dark chocolate, then picks up some sweet pumpkin pie, and ends spicy. Lingering spice. Nice to see a pumpkin stout!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of cinnamon and nutmeg with some chocolate and pumpkin thrown in. The flavor is more of the same. I get some heavy bitter chocolate and cinnamon notes as well as some ash and tobacco. There is also some earthy pumpkin character. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
