Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Gold with white head. Sweetish beer but with good bittering hop character, there is a touch of butterscotch in the body, but all in all a decent hoppy beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2005. The last beer of the day and the best by some margin. Although there’s some tropical fruit notes, this beer is really all about the hops. Masses of juicy, spicy, succulent, resinous hops bursting out all over the place. Grapefreuit and orange zest come through late. Crisp, succulent and refreshing. Delicious.
