Good, fluffy, light-yellow head over light golden, clear (or ought I to say "bright"?) beer. Very nice grapey hops, bit of dishtowel, honey - and hops again, US ones. Very bitter head, hoppy, getting into a superb hoppy taste, grapey hops, fresh citrus, more dishwater (not disturbing, however), and a very spritzy MF. Light bodied, but giving an impression of density and alcohol, that widely surpasses its modest 4% ABV. British in alcohol, American in flavour - profuse thanks to Ewan McD for this true gem! I can only try to imagine how this must be on a well-cared for cask...

Cask conditioned handpump Merchants Inn Rugby. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. A nice hoppy beer with grapefruit and orange notes throughout. A touch of soap in the mouth too. Lovely fresh tasting beer. I thought this had Motueka rather than US hops but hey ho.

500ml Bottle Conditioned. Light golden/ye//ow with a small off white head and little carbonation. Hops and citrus jump out of the glass and are joined by lots of bitterness in the mouth & swallow. Very flowery and refreshing as well as totally moreish. A lovely beer.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’11. Gold with white head. Pleasant fruity body, peachy leading to an aromatic hop, we got elderflower mixed with lemony flavours. Decent enough.

cask @ 2007 Oxford Beer Festival. Gold in colour, with aromas of light citrus and mild green apple. Fairly straightforward flavors of fruity/floral hops and British pale malts. Medium bodied. Well balanced, but a bit too simplistic.
