cazort (340), San Diego, California, USA Apr 19, 2008 (On tap in Hamden) Very sweet and fruity in a syrupy kind of way. Thin and bland otherwise. Tasted like someone added raspberry syrup to a light beer. Not much malt or bitterness. Not really my type of beer, and in my opinion, poorly executed for its style.
kevd193213 (311), Coventry, Rhode Island, USA Jul 5, 2008 Growler. Golden cloudy pour with a medium thin white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and sweet raspberry. Taste is overpoweringly sweet, which isn’t surprising since it is labeled as "wheat beer with artificial flavoring added". blklab2007 (527), Connecticut, USA Jun 14, 2008 on tap southport location. light amber color with an aroma of syrupy berries, light wheat, and faint floral. flavor is just like the smell. very sweet extract flavoring but I can see why this might be popular with the masses. jjpm74 (2875), Connecticut, USA Nov 16, 2005 Pours light copper and wheat with a small white head. Smells of razberries and corn syrup. Taste is subdued and sweet. The tartness isn’t there at all.
