Lovely pale orange appearance, with a creamy, frothy head and decent lace, quite light on in the flavour depatment, but extremely fresh, refreshing mouthfeel, nice and dry, its decent.

pretty full. i can't imagine too many south australians drink this over the coopers. looked decent - pale with nice lace but was very bland with a watery finish
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 bluevegie (2854) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 16, 2007
Cloudy pale straw body with white head. Nothing first up but some lemon and yeast characters on the finish - not very memorable.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheGrandMaster (2308) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 24, 2008
Draught. A cloudy gold with a filmy head. No aroma at all. Thin, some floral flavours. Not much going on, a touch of citrus in the finish.

Draught at Holdfast Hotel, Adelaide. Clear golden with a flat white head that disappeared. Aroma and flavour of grain, adjuncts and vegetal notes. It’s bland all round. Really bad.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sully (1378) - Potts Point, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA - AUG 28, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2007 Aussie pale ales are pale, a bad thing. Green labels on brown bottles are too. The beer itself is a bit of a surprise with some positive notes. This is in the same league as the premium I think.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 eczematic (1284) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 11, 2002
Good with fish’n’chips. A good ole fashioned Adelaide kinda beer. Very pale indeed, even paler than Coopers pale, and with a better head too. Lightly woody fruity flavours (peach, passionfruit) and a good deep earthy bitterness to anchor the overall light, refreshing texture.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 beerledgend (1050) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 1, 2006
On tap at Holfast hotel.
Extremly hazy yellow colour with small white head. Another, yet again. Aussie macro, no flavour no real attempte to be a pale ale. Just trying to compete against Coopers Pale Ale.
