A natural, lightly sweet, cloudy beer that's smooth and doesn't linger long on the palate. Spanner.

About the only good thing to come out of South Australia ever, although I will conceed Coopers has a lot going for it. This is a bloody good beer.

Light white delicious, mid amber/ golden with light cloud, whiffs of fresh sultana grapes (still on the vine). Clean malty middle amongst light spices, hints of cumin and pimento, citric acid at the end. Long dry finish for wheaty, neither sweet nor sour. Fresh from the factory,Yippee! Better on the second, third date. The more I drink, the more I like. 2nd rating.. it just seems better every time. On Tap is more various with + or haze anddry fruity flavours.Whew!! Beyootifull in summer.

As most said it is not a good example of a Wit, but as a summer wheat it is an easy drinker and fair overall.

Like duff said a bit more belgian than germam, had a nice nose and citrus notes but the palate was a quite bland and lacked flavour. this beer is quite refreshing and easy to drink and will be good for summer.

Maybe a bit more German than belgian, a bit bland sweetish and flat though, but its easy to down, and refreshing for summer.

After tasting Matilda Bay Redback Original, I was disapointed at this beer. I found it flat, sour and bitter without finding any other distinguishable flavours or aromas.

very unusual. Unlike any other Australian beer. Easy drinking and extremely fruity. The closest thing Australia has to a Bavarian wheat beer.
