Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Sep 28, 2006 Draft pint at the Route 66 Microbrewery in ABQ airport, 9/20/06, under the new "Isotopes Amber" name. Dark amber-orange-red with a pillowy head. Served in an iced glass (bummer) but anyway ... Nice little hoppy bite starts this off, then it settles into a nice solid earthy ale. Me likey!! Golden coloured and very hoppy. Floral aroma. Slightly bitter finish. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Apr 10, 2004 tap at brewery-light copper hue-pretty standard pale ale appearance. decent white head-citrus aroma. flavors were soapy, piney and pretty decent. a fairly good pale. whaleman (2168), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 24, 2003 Now-called Albuquerque Isotope Pale Ale in an apparent marketing arrangement with the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball team. This is still essentially the same beer I believe. Nice head and gold-orange color. Hop aroma is fragrant and faintly spicy. There’s also an unexpected aroma of bananas. Piney, peppery flavor. A decent beer but not much distinguishes it from so many contemporary Pale Ale microbrews. MrRomero (1881), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Jun 17, 2002 Updated: Apr 10, 2004Rerate 10 Apr 04: Hoppier than I remembered. Poured orange with a thin head. Light earth notes with a hoppy/citrusy aroma.
Nicely hopped but it is a bit bitter. Wanted another one but had to catch a plane.
