RblWthACoz (959), Brooklyn, New York, USA Nov 18, 2007 From notes 9/2006. Pours amber of course. I was surprised at how much I liked this brew. While I can’t say it will be an all time favorite, it would definitely be the type that I would get for a weekend or a party or something along those lines. The flavor has a somewhat sweet edge to it that never drops off and stays constant. The body is thicker with a heavy tone to it. This isn’t a cheap brew and actually tastes well. I will say thought that I am sure it’s quality has a lot to do with the fact that it is locally brewed and I bought it about 5 miles away from the brewery. SoylentBlack (99), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Jun 26, 2007 Very surprised. I expected a watered down ale for ballpark fans of the Simpsons. Medium body on this, very slight bitter. Nice mouthfeel, and a very balanced taste. Nothing overwhelming in any direction. A great ale to chug at the stadium when everyone else is sipping their Miller Lights. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Apr 10, 2004 tap at brewpub-one of the better brews of the bunch-nice malts and hops in the aroma-very caramel-esqe. Nice tingle on the tongue as the hops and malts combine together. good brew! MrRomero (1872), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Apr 10, 2004 Thin head atop an amber body. Mild malt and hop aroma. Nicely balanced with the hops providing an earthy finish.
