2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tasted 27/3/15 at Medrosa d’Alfama, Lisbon. Poured a pale amber/pale straw colour with a few white bubbles as a collar that produced no lacing. Carbonation moderate and fine. Aroma of slight malt sweetness; no obvious hops. Tastes slightly sweet with a trace of yeast, becoming more yeasty as it warms; no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth and crisp and better than other local beers but not as good a a typical helles.

0,3l on TAP at Catraio in Porto. Hellgelbes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Leicht malziges Aroma, schmeckt auch so, dazu kommt eine nicht harmonisierende Hopfenbittere.

Aroma: DMS dominates the grain, malt and hop aroma. No spicy hop aromas present.

Overall: a very poor example of a Helles.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled, thanks andregoncalves! Hazy golden, mid sized head. Gentle floral hop aromas. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Pleasant buttery malt flavours, combined with floral hops. Low-medium bitterness. Really well made, nicely drinkable helles - I only miss some malt depth/softness.
