sometimes a little bit more oxygen, but it’s not sweet and caramel taste is not prevailing like in another beers of this type. Pretty good

on tap at the brewery, 2011 birthday. quite a dark amber with a lasting off-white head; yeasty, doughy aroma, almost seeming not lagered enough; plenty of caramel and some yeasty tang saved by some metallic bitterness. lacking a little finesse

(100cl plastic bottle via Quack-Duck – thanks !) Cloudy, amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted aroma with buttery malty notes and a subtle fruity touch, accompanied by shy woody hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of bread and caramel, accompanied by a whiff of nuts and subtle berry-fruity notes revailing an early stage of infection; slightly fruity and minimally bitter hoppy finish. Still drinkable, even likeable, but deserves nevertheless a re-rate. 09.11.11

Lahev: ( to pivo našel Quack-Duck na ŠUMAVĚ!) Hazy, amber coloured, small lacy foamy layer, caramelly-fruity nose with the first traces of infection; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied, a light acidity detectable; nutty-caramelly finish with a fruity tinge. Škoda, to se pije lepe v pivovaru.......

1l bottle from the brewery. Hazy brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Medium-bodied, intensive caramel flavours, hints of chocolate and cocoa powder, pleasant hoppy finish. A nice polotmavy, nearly a Dunkel...
