2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
on tap at the brewery, 2011 birthday. quite a dark amber with a lasting off-white head; yeasty, doughy aroma, almost seeming not lagered enough; plenty of caramel and some yeasty tang saved by some metallic bitterness. lacking a little finesse

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(100cl plastic bottle via Quack-Duck – thanks !) Cloudy, amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted aroma with buttery malty notes and a subtle fruity touch, accompanied by shy woody hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of bread and caramel, accompanied by a whiff of nuts and subtle berry-fruity notes revailing an early stage of infection; slightly fruity and minimally bitter hoppy finish. Still drinkable, even likeable, but deserves nevertheless a re-rate. 09.11.11

Hazy, amber coloured, small lacy foamy layer, caramelly-fruity nose with the first traces of infection; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied, a light acidity detectable; nutty-caramelly finish with a fruity tinge. Škoda, to se pije lepe v pivovaru.......
