Erzengel (1907) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2013
Hopfen Leicht in 50cl bottle. Mild-weicher aromatischer Antrunk. 14/13/13/14

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Had this as Spalter Hopfen Leicht. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild but quite dry and moldy. Modest bitter. Finish still grasy-moldy, much too unbalanced. Not good.

bottle from Edeka Neuendettelsau. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Lovely hop aroma. Very light-bodied yet full of flavour. Shy malt flavours in the far background, delicious and spicy aromatic hops all over the tongue. Great to see that low-alcohol beers can be so tasty.

It’s golden with a white head, and the aroma has notes of butter and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of butter, malt, straw and the finish is slightly bitter and dry.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toaasted, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100813]

Bottle, 2.9%. Bready aroma, quite plasticky. Clear very pale yellow colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is bready and buttery. Has an OK rough bitterness and a hint of fine aroma hop. Not enough to make it good, though.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Malty aroma with hoppy notes. Flavor was fairly dry with a solid amount of hops and hints of malt. Finished dry and bitter.
