1 April 2013. Tap @ Brewpub. Served as "Spezial" . Pours ruby amber with a creamy white head. Fruit, caramel, nuts and bread. Mild notes of honey. Sweet. Quite nice.

Tap at Hell oder Dunkel as ’Spezial Dunkel’. Dark brown with ruby edges barely lets an light through, creamy beige head. Low chocolate, earth, vague floating fruitiness, and only late do the delicious creamy mocha and light roast come rushing in. Low sweetness, low bitterness. Soft medium body, better than most brewpub offerings!

On draft at ’Hell oder Dunkel’. Diminishing, light tan head - brown, lightly hazy body with red highlights. Light toffee and raisiny malt in the nose with some bread crust. Raisin comes through bigger in the flavor with some mild roasted notes, and a pinch of chocolate. No hop presence. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Malt forward with light bitterness, but good attenuation. Lingering toffee and raisin. Another good one!

Dark brown coloured, small pale beige head, some caramel in the nose. Pretty weak roasted malt and caramel taste with not much of hops. Sweetish watery finish. Had better.

Draught. Low creamy and quickly disappearing off-white head. Hazy dark brown body. Roasted malt caramel cocoa honey aroma. Heavily carbonated roasted malt caramel flavor with little hops bitterness and a short aftertaste.

Draught. Murky brown with a medium head. Aroma is light choco malt. Flavour is powder chocolate with a bittersweet background. Finish is dry light bitter. Carbonation is soft

Frisch malzig-getreidiger Antrunk, deutlich aber eher hintergründig hopfig. Im Mittelteil etwas malzig, knackig hopfig-hefig, ausgweogen. Erfrischend, mild, mittelaromatisch. Test vom 23.9.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 11,10,11,11,-,11 - 10,84

(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 24 July 2010) Pale brown colour, cloudy, with brief beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, wort and a touch of brown sugar. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, wort, dried fruit and some brown sugar. Medium body, fairly sweet with some bitterness. Well balanced and quite nice.

Unclear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090919]

Draught@"Brauhaus in Spandau". Dark hazy nut brown color, good creamy beige head, some lace. Malty, caramelly and a bit toasted aroma. A bit fizzy carbonation. Caramelly, straw/grassy hops. Bitterness in the aftertaste. Balanced and tasty, one of the best brewpub beers I had in Berlin.
