Bottle:   Fiery amber, sediment abounds, large frothy white head, so-so lacing.   Soft citrusy/rindish hops on the nose.   When I say soft, I mean soft.   Not terribly biting on the tongue, decent malt base.   Not lopsided, which is nice.   Not too bright either tho.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Fades somewhat quickly, but then again I am used to bruiser Pale Ales.   Probably truer to style than I am used to.   Better than I was expecting.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Dark amber brew with decent head. Aroma dominated by malts - somewhat wirty. Taste is a little sweet malt at the start quickly transitioning to a blend of sour and bitter hops. Good hops presence though somewhat unrefined. A flavorful brew.

Still more notes from the Great Midwest excursion. Damn, I bought a lot of beer... It’s a lightly hazy copper, yeast in suspension with a fluffy ivory head. Sweet, sweet hops in the nose, sweet pale malt too. The sweet hop aroma does not hint at the herbal biting bitterness the hops deliver. It’s like a turbo charged English style pale ale. Mouth is dryish lots of herbal hops in the finish and aftertaste. Something about this beer doesn’t mesh well, the hops (Crystal, Mt. Hood, Horizon) are not right for the malt profile or they overpower it too much. Whatever, it just doesn’t work for me. Only fair.

I’m having a hard time reading my notes. I don’t remember why I rated it so high. Pours apricot. Nose and taste is floral citrus. Rated 1/8/0

Bottle. Pours orange golden with a white head. Nice floral fruity grapefruit notes a bit astringent however with a moderate malt bill. Decent overall.

(bottle). Pours a cloudy, dark orange color with particles. Frothy, medium size off white head. Potent hop aroma (possibly fuggles?). Light hop flavor with light bitterness. Soft carbonation. Thin texture. Fair lacing.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a frothy two-finger head that receded to a nice solid film and left plenty of thick lacing. Generous citrusy hops on the nose. Mildly bitter citrus and pine hops flavors with a solid maltiness that nicely balances the bitterness. Medium body, lively carbonation, and a clean crisp hops-dominated aftertaste.

Pours a near clear orange amber with sustainable white head. Nose is apple, sweet floral hop. Flavor is perfumy, some alcohol burn, and more floral hop. Distinct light bitter finish. Easy drinking pale, pretty good for style.

Pours a clear golden/amber with a a few bubbles and a medium creamy white froth. Smells like sour wet grains, hint of caramel, and lightly fruity floral hops. Flavor is light and biscuity, touch of sweet caramel and fruity floral hops, some toffee, a bit purfumy. Medium bodied, easy drinking, nice unobtrusive simple carbonation. Wow... haha it really does taste exactly like bitter iced-tea in the the finish/aftertaste.
