jredmond (621), New Jersey, USA Apr 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. The body is dark, cloudy amber. The aroma is minimal notes of hop. The taste is pretty good. Maybe some notes of yeast as well?
Butters (422), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bottle pours a true clear amber with sustainable thin off-white head. Nose is floral with citric hop notes in the finish. Flavor leans toward a noble hop profile but with sufficient malt backbone to balance this brew. The label says ’amber’ but i agree with the sites placement into the ’pale ale’ category. Pretty good for that style. FishManLA (182), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA Sep 23, 2008 Pours a dark brown/amber with a medium sized tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. Light lacing. Nose is malty and has notes of raisins. Taste is nice and complex with notes of malt, caramel, chocolate, raisins, hints of sweet fruit, and noticeable hoppiness. Mildly hoppy bitter/sweet finish lingering almost subliminal fruity notes. NOTE: Since there’s some ambiguity as to who’s currently brewing this stuff, the bottle I purchase says "Polson, Montana and Denver, Colorado" for whatever that’s worth. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA Sep 19, 2008 This is truely a decent beer. The commercial description is pretty accurate as what to expect from this beer. Enjoy! DrDavid (351), Johnson, Vermont, USA Sep 4, 2008 (Bottle). Citrusy aroma, with some malt sweetness. Clear copper, small head. Flavor is tangy sweet, caramel, lots of carbonation. Refreshing, but not complex. thornecb (1136), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 24, 2008 Pours deep amber/mahogany into a shaker. Off-white head with excellent retention leaves sheet lacing as it slowly recedes. Dark caramel with a crisp body and a slightly sour finish.
