guyinchicago (190), usa, Illinois, USA Apr 3, 2008 poured dark orangish brown with small head suprisingly good. sweet and mild, easy drinking with hoppy finish now i didn’t expect much from this one but very nice.
bryandhargrave (157), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jul 15, 2008 as far as i can expect myself to like an english pale, this wasnt bad. i bought if cus its from montana, too bad brewers sell. seems as if its not made there anymore and my guess is that its not as good as it used to be. CasperQuaffer (136), Casper, Wyoming, USA Jul 12, 2008 Pours with good tan foam, long lasting. Aroma is fresh, slightly sweet like mown hay. Decent hops, a bit weak on the grain and yeast. Has a fizzy mouth feel. This is a true classic, but has been long surpassed by other great Pale Ales. zappafan99 (213), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 9, 2008 Taste 7/8 Body: Murky brown, clinging tan head. Aroma: Floral scent with some roasted malt. Taste: Thin to med body. Spicy Brown Ale. KDorgan12 (151), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Jul 9, 2008 Bottle-RI. Poured a dark brown with a shallow off white head. Very full body with a lasting maltiness. Nose consists of nuts and chocolate. MrBeerFanatic (185), jamestown, New York, USA Jul 8, 2008 Pours dark amber with a beige head. Has the aroma of caramel, yeast and a little hops. The flavor upfront is of nuts, then ends with hints of caramel, chocolate and a touch of hops. Leaves a little burnt aftertaste. This beer is actually a little complex and good. Not bad for a beer I found at wegmans.
