argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Aug 26, 2008 (12oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, grain, apple, light lemon. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, some bread/grain, peach/perfume, light grassy, faint bubblegum. Light-medium body, fairly clean. Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 21, 2008 Picked up a bottle at Pat-apostrophe-s Liquors in Porter, IN. Methinks this should be listed as a plain ole wheat ale since it shares little with a Kristallweizen except for the clarity. This one is a deep gold with a tall and sustained head. The aroma is wheat malt with lemon grass. It tastes of wheat flakes and lemon with a shake of sugar. Okay as a lawn mower beer. heemer77 (3782), Savannah, Missouri, USA Aug 21, 2008 Medium gold colored body with a fluffy egg shell white head. The aroma was ligh bananas and lemon zest. There is also a little hitn of the clove. The taste has some over ripe bananas and strong clove in the finish. There was also a little bit of ABC gum. Overall, this is drinkable, but the nasty finish makes it a little unpleasant. Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 9, 2008 Bottle in Belmont Party. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostky lasting with good lacing. Moderate citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with an average sweet finish of short duration. Drinkable average brew. bhensonb (3010), Woodland, California, USA Aug 11, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Golden amber color with a decent white head. Aromas of mild spice and slight banana. Near medium body with somewhat creamy carbonation. Flavor is bready wheat with some citrus. Not getting much banana. It’s ok. Don’t think it would stand up to a German, but it’s ok.
