Editor’s Note:Production moved to Glacier Brewing in Polson, MT in 2005, continued together with Flying Dog in Colorado as well in 2006. Entire production moved to City Brwery in WI in the summer of 2007. In 2009 the production was moved to Olde Saratoga in NY and Butte Creek in CA.

Pours a nice bronze colored body and a surprisingly large and thick tan head. The aroma has virtually No hints of Raspberry, mostly malt, caramel, a small note of honey. Wow, the flavor is in conjunction with the aroma but now I can taste the Raspberry, it’s subdued but present…… Malts, wheat, caramel, honey, raspberry in that order; Medium palate, very effervescent, actually much better than I was expecting it to be.

Ruby red colour with brown highlights and a thin off-white head. Very potent raspberry aroma with a bit of sweetness detectable throughout! Malty taste with more sweetness than anything else. Aftertaste a bit bittered from the malt, but fairly sweetened from the other flavours! Overall, a decent beer...actually a bit better than I had expected! I had this on draught at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York on 28-October-2003.

Golden color, aroma and flavor has just a hint of raspberry that is not over bearing. Nice and smooth when going down. I like it.

Poured a clear reddish orange color with a small off white head and no lacing. Wheaty raspberry aroma with a sweet and sour raspberry taste.

Raspberry aroma with some honey. Orangish/light brown color with a white head that was gone in no time. Slight raspberry flavor, not nearly as much as in the aroma, some malt. Palate was dry, slightly acidic. Wasn't too bad.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2003 sweet and raspberry aroma, obviously. brown/toffee colored with a bit of gold and red mixed in. white loose bubbly head that vanishes quickly. fizzy and watery medicine taste. ends a bit acidic and slightly bitter. it's fruity! nothing remarkable and definitely drinkable (but to a short point).

Like most fruit beers, it smeels and looks great. Reddish orange with bit rocky white head. Aroma of, oh lets see, maybe honey and raspberries? Not neaarly as much in the flavor. I give it credit for maintaining some beer flavors, but ultimately it just does not work. cloying sweet.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2003 Re-Rate: Darker in colour with a thin head that quickly dissipates. Lots of raspberry in the nose but when you take a drink POW its all gone. Lots of carbonation and weak flavor that is acidic with just a hint of raspberry

Hazy, golden-orange color and tight velvety head that laces well. Predictably, tart raspberry aroma dominates with an underlying hint of honey. Smells fresh and fruity and not artificial, thankfully. Flavor is rather restrained and considerably less tart and sweet than expected. Raspberries are subdued but apparent. The palate is like watery silk. Fruit beers scare me, but this was refreshing and decent outdoors on a nice day.

This is very pleasant. I can't taste the honey so much but the raspberry is just right- not too masked or overpowering.
