BeerGestapo (297), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 20, 2008 (German) Poured this brew at the Liederkranz with fellow Knight’s The_Capt and death with a K. The color was a dark brown with a med-tan head. Aroma was of mild vanilla and dark malts. The taste was of roasted malts and coffee !! pretty good stuff, By the end of the night we were playing drums and singing songs...lol.
The_Captain (280), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 19, 2008 Three pitchers on tap at a German summer Beer Fest, shared with beergestapo and death with a K. Drank in traditional german beer steins. Dark brown-copper pour with plenty of foam off white head. Nice malty grain blend. Smooth on the pallet with a slight roasted feel. After three pitchers we were just about doing the chicken dance! Loved this refreshing brew, good times! anthlovesbeer (61), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA Mar 10, 2008 Smooth from start to finish. Easy drinking and not heavy on carbonation. A nice balanced matly taste. rcasta (257), El Salvador Oct 12, 2007 I’m pretty sure this is the beer I had at the Spaten brewery in Munich. Great ambiance and good beer in general. Nothing like the germans to create a genuine beer experience. gnoff (2560), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 5, 2007 (Draught at Waldwirtshaft Grosshesselhoe, München) Clear dark brown color, tan head. Butterscotch mixed with sweet toffee and vanilla scent. Roasted malty sweet taste with hints of coffee in the aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness.
