Draft @ The Brick Store: Clear golden color with a small white head. Sweet and malty aroma with some yeasty notes. Grainly with light apples. The flavor matched. Malty sweet and grainy. With cereal notes and light yeastiness. Medium bodied.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 aracauna (2649) - Georgia, USA - MAY 14, 2006
On draught at the Brick Store in a really cool 1/2 liter curved mug with the Maibock logo. Really nice glass. Rich golden body, good creamy head. The aroma is lightly hopped. Slightly honey-like maltiness. The beer menu at the Brick Store had this listed at 9%, but I really find that hard to believe. Pretty easy drinking, a bit on the hefty side for the body for a lager, but fairly tasty. Not a bad ber.

Pretty decent aroma of malt. Flavor of some malt, grain, and a nice sweet taste. Can’t really complain.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jokes (1453) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2006
Draught. Clear, golden body with a fluffy, white head. Slightly sweet malt, biscuits, whole grains, fresh grass, mild Noble hop character and a light, sweet residual malt element. The body is pretty creamy and smooth with mild carbonation and plenty of heft. The flavor is mostly sweet up front with a mild bitter kick toward the finish. While not the most complex or most amazing example of this style I’ve ever had, it’s tasty and enjoyable, mostly clean and quite fresh.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rebelbrewer (125) - Lithonia, Georgia, USA - APR 17, 2006
On tap at the Brick Store Pub on 04/15/06 and of course served in the appropriate glass. 0.5L 6.3%ABV for $4.50. And what a cool glass. Conical shaped with a ram icon on front and a handle. Got to get one (or two) of these. Oh! The beer… It is a beautiful thing. Clear 14K gold color, but with no lacing (who cares). A light sweet malt flavor, very smooth and a very pleasant hop finish. Good stuff.
