3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 FishBizkit (78) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Pours a clear dark with a hint of red. Medium creamy sudsy off-white head. Aroma obvious "green bottle" slight skunk, light toffee, faint roast, and grass underneath. Flavor is slightly murky malt sweetness with mostly cloying toffee/caramel, lightly buttery, hint of nutty roast makes its way through the sweetness. Palate is on the lighter side with a typical Spaten carbonation. Decent quality & I don’t mid the green bottle skunk. Decent drinker forme.

This Dunkel tasted like it was spat in. Not good. It was the worst dunkel I’ve ever had and didn’t even have the flavors I would expect from this type of beer, almost like it was a draft beer from a dirty line. Not good.

amber brown with a light head and no lace. Taste of dark malt with carbonation bittering. Very light and easy to drink, but not enough to be a regular choice
