Bottle. Sweet, yet strong, hoppy aroma. Thin white head. Pale straw-gold color. Flavor is lightly hoppy, with a strong bitter bite at the end and aftertaste. Carbonation is quite strong.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong, pleasant aroma like club soda with a twist of lime. Tall but brief head but ok lacing. Color is very light and sort of cheap looking, could pass for MGD (and unfortunately has the same gritty aftertaste). Taste might not possess the elements of a great connoiseur brew, but if you’re in the mood for a beer like MGD that packs slightly more of a punch, you should give this a try - if being overpriced is not an issue.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This pours a nice golden color with a sizeable white head and good carbonation. The aroma is mild, mainly of sweet malts. The flavor is a good crisp malt with a hit of the hop bitterness in the finish. S’okay.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt and little else. Light to Medium-bodied; Small fragrant hop character in the taste with more of an emphasis on good quality malt. Aftertaste shows some distinct malt character with a bubbly feeling throughout. Overall, a nice beer to try (although it is very common) and worth drinking. I sampled this beer on draught as ’Spaten Munchner Hell’ on draught on 07-June-2004 in Sydney, Australia at the Lowenbrau restaurant on ’The Rocks’.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Yellow color with a small white head. Mild pale aroma. Taste was thin and reminiscent of American pale lagers. Thin watery body. Very disappointing when compared to Spaten Optimator.

As Spaten Bière Blonde Premium, French packaging. Light malts, some sweetness, with decent hop profile. Clean and crisp aroma. Pale blond clear, effervescence, with foamy white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts rather bland, with mild malts and grain. Low acidity. Hops bitterness comes in at the finish, with decent bitter dry after. A decent lager.
