Has the usual Eurolager look and smell (which isn't necessarily a bad thing.) It tastes much better than Heineken or Beck's though. Overall, a good and very drinkable beer.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2005 looked as expected. plenty of sweet malt up-front and then some strange berry bitterness-tartness. a little water. as zieglerbrau helles on tap in dachau. typical sweet hay aroma. very pale with very light bitterness and a hint of raw sugar. standard helles made to seem a bit better by being very fresh

Very light golden color with a white head. The taste is light and fresh. Malts and hops, doesn't give enough taste in my opinion.

This can eat my pussy. If I want to buy Heineken I don't need to go to some swanky pub in the rocks. I hated this beer bad and had to ask if others wanted to finish my bottle. This beer hurt not only my tastebuds, but my feelings...

(bottled). Brilliant pale gold with a grainy malt nose & noble hop aroma. Medium bodied with a nice maltiness, moderate carbonation, and a pleasant hop bitterness that lingers and balances the maltiness to a slighly dry finish. Perfectly balanced like the style demands and highly recommended!

Light golden colour. Quite sweet with a medium bitter finish. Decent body, but all in all nothing special.

Classic golden color with a small white head that diminishes fairly quickly. A steady stream of tiny bubbles keeps a thin foam at the top of the glass. Rich lager aroma, malt, a bit of honey and floral hops. Nice initial acidic pucker, malts well up to balance the middle then the hop bitterness returns for a lingering, slightly herby finish. Light body buoyed by perfect level of carbonation. Nice, drinkable German beer.

Very light taste, deceptively strong. Nice clean flavor with a light touch on the hops.

Light gold in color, very nice aroma. Crisp and clean. Very good balance of bitter and sweet. Hops are delightful.
