This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Keg - Bavarian Bier Cafe, Manly, Sydney. Poured a clear, bright golden with a lasting one-finger white head. Aromas of lemon, some grain and a gentle toast and biscuit malt character. Very crisp, clean and with refreshing purity. Light to medium body, medium carbonation with a fine length of a soft intensity bitterness. Gentle, easy-drinking with fair bittersweet balance.

Clear golden with a fairly big quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is light grains, pale malt, seed, touch of bitter hops. Taste is clean with simple pale malt, barley and cooked vegetables. Some bitter grassy hops. Finishes dry and wattery. Light to medium body, medium carbo, slight dry and crisp texture. Refreshing.

Mycket god pilsner. Smakar som urtypen av en öl. Härlig skumkrona och vacker färg. Världsklass.

It has a light golden colored body with very good clarity and some visible streams of carbonation. The head on top is light and foamy, bright white in color and fades out quickly. The aroma is very light with just a hint of pale malt and grassy/floral hop notes. The flavor is simple crisp and refreshing with a light to medium body. There is a thin biscuity malt balanced by floral and somewhat grassy hops that bring mild but balanced bitterness. The finish is quick and fairly dry with active cleansing carbonation.
