9/11/12. Faint pils malt aroma. Crystal clear. a truly dry finish (1.010 or less I would guess). No hop anything. Probably one of the better Helles I have had.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.5l bottle. Clear golden body, white head. Aroma of bread and hay. Taste of bread, grains, hay and some floral hops in the finish. A nice example of a German helles. I like it.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
White foam and compact, extremely crystal clear color, fruity aroma especially for the genre (lemon, pineapple). Its delicate carbonation makes it amiable to the palate while the manly flavor of malt appreciable even at room temperature. The aftertaste is nicely caramelized. A great lager, probably the best I’ve ever tasted.

Tap @ Bavarian Bier Cafe, Moore Park. Clear light yellow with a frothy white head. Limited aromas of malt, yeast, bread a touch of hops. Nice malty, bready flavours complimented by just a tinge of hop bitterness towards the end. It's not made to push flavour or brewing boundaries. It's made to drink in multiples with big hunks of fatty/salty pork and it does that very well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz purchased at the Coop tonight poured into my small weizen glass.
Very short lasting 1 finger head left behind spotty lace.. atop a light golden brew.. very clear.
Grainy pale malts.. very clean.. this is one of the good times where less is more... I love a good helles... and this is a good one for sure.
Malty .. very restrained bitterness and just the slightest breath of spicy/grassy hop flavor... smooth lite/medium body with just enough carbonation... as it warms, it sweetens.. but not in a bad way.. the malts come to the front as they should. This is not a Dortmunder .. and nobody should think otherwise.

Are they pushing the limits of the Reinheitsgebot by using hop extract? I’ll leave that to the lawyers.
Very pale, minimal head. Medium-bodied (more substantial than it looks). The predominant flavor is caramel malt. A little bit of the skunky flavor that sometimes comes with central-European brews. The hops are crisp but very light. All of the flavors fade very quickly. Forgettable.

Pours a bubbly clear light yellow with a white foamy head. Aroma of yeast and bread. Flavor is distinctly German malt with lager yeast. A good alternative to most American light beer. Crisp in the finish.
