Aroma is bready, malty, some minerals, grass, hay. Golden colour, medium white head, lacing. Taste is rather weak, bread, minerals, grass, hay, slightly metallic. Palate is average. Total, Goes down, but nothing special.

Smells nice and juicy. The taste is a little too thin with a dull and thin aftertaste. No beer you should try.

Clear pale golden with medium to thin white head. Aroma.. malty, some hops, bit bready, notes of fruit. Sweet character with light bitter finish. Balanced brew thou very boring

Aroma: floral aroma dominates, light earthiness, subtle grainy malt. Flavor: rounded grainy malt with gentle, understated bitterness. Comment: great mouthfeel, carbonated initial attack turns into a creamy palate with a light, delicate finish. Finally, a good, non-skunked German lager!

Pale gold, clear, moderate white head; sweet, malty aroma; light, honey-sweet malt flavour with some grassy hops; a little thin; no more than alright.

Draught. Golden yellow, soft frothy head. Somewhat white bready, soft pale malty nose with honey and weak, rounded, hoppyness. Body is quite soft and nice. Medium full, good fit for my palate. Soft maltiness, a bit of hoppy tones in finish. Excellent helles.

12 oz bottle into a Samuel Smith pint glass. A: Pours a crystal clear golden straw color. I love how translucent the body is, in particular. The head is a two finger white shade; retention isn’t the best, but there’s some really nice lacing left on the glass. S: Aye, it’s a bit skunked (lol, green bottles), but it could have been worse. The notes of pale malts, faint sweetness, and zesty hops aren’t dulled in any significant capacity. T: At first, some of the hop profile comes through with notes of grass and lemon zest, but the finish is pure, balanced, simple malt goodness. In particular, it has a nutty flavor that I really enjoy (that, and the diacetyl is kept in check). Personally, I want more hops; but I won’t complain about the balance this offers. M: Not quite as bone dry as I like my lagers to be - nor is it too sweet. The texture does the best it can to provide good drinkability without significant hoppiness. O: Green bottles mean I wouldn’t buy this one again. However, I would seek it out on tap. An under-appreciated lager unfortunately scorned both by its bottle color and by who makes it.

Canette 500ml sous le nom de "Spaten München". De couleur jaune-dorée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle légèrement sucré, léger de houblon hebreux aux notes florales avec des traces de miel. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture légèrement aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâle légèrement sucrés et aux petites notes croustillantes dès l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute des notes de miel et quelques traces de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (gazon) aux notes florales. Post-goût court aux notes sèches, aux petites notes amères de houblon herbeux.

Clear yellow with a nice white head. Looks like a classic lager. Aroma: clean, bready, almost bisquity, sweet. Taste: clean, small bitterness, sweet bisquity malt, bready. Well balanced and a nice session brew.

Gold, clear, white head. Aroma of pilsner malt with a touch of caramel sweetness in background. Aroma of grainy-sweet pilsner malt, moderate balancing hop bitterness. Drinkable Helles.
