Beer_Hawk (759), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Apr 30, 2008 Bottle. Poured very clear copper with a tall, frothy, off-white head that leaves light lacing. The aroma finds fruits and light spices with a malty background. The flavor has caramel malts backed with hops and hints of spices and fruits. Medium body, smooth texture, and sweet throughout. (Rating from Sept ’07)
KornDogg (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 10, 2008 On Tap at Annie Bailey’s, Nice amber color, aroma is sweeter... much smoother then had planned... sweet aftertaste... hint of hops...usually not a fan of oktoberfest brews, but this is a solid brew.... autumnsakura (4), USA does not count Oct 10, 2008 Great amber color with a little head. Balanced hops flavor with some malty notes. Very drinkable beer, reasonably crisp and decent aftertaste. porter4porter (29), Florida, USA Oct 9, 2008 Pours amber, nice caramel aroma, flavor is malty with a hint of spice and sweetness, slight hop finish, overall not a great Oktoberfest but drinkable pj1855 (74), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Oct 9, 2008 Very clear body. Amber in color. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor is a mixture of caramel, malts and spice. Some hop bitterness at the end but not too overpowering. Pretty good balance.
CaryTheDude (282), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2008 Yeah, aroma of chlorine and malty...chlorine. Flavor isn’t too different. Looks very very nice, but no rewards in this Oktoberfest. Sucks something bad, aight?
