Not blown away, but it’s not bad either. It has a nice malty aroma. A nice medium amber color. It’s flavor is hop and malt. It’s a bit sweet on the exit. I think this is rather ordinary.

Jul 6, 2008 Bottle. Poured dark gold with thick white head. Wonderful hoppy and malty aroma. Flavour just drops off the table with a flat ending. Thin body and a flattish finish. Acceptable, but a disappointment after such a fine start.

Jun 21, 2008 Not my favorite style, but good. All caramel malt flavor typical of the style. Nice balance of bitterness made this beer much more drinkable than some octoberfests. No complexity, just a simple beer.
