Pours crisp medium amber with a 2 finger coarse foamy off white head that has great retention. Aroma is nice grainy malt, a little caramel, toast, and some sweet caramel, a hint of floral and citrus hops. Flavor has lots of grainy, straw like malts, caramel, a little citrus hops and an interesting fruity -berry like- taste that comes in just as the finish comes in with a caramel sweetness and leafy hops.

Bottled at my favorite JPM training burger place near Wall Street. Spaten Oktoberfestbier is a clear golden color with a nicely formed white head. The flavor and aroma are not ver good, but full of malt with hints of alcohol. The texture is smooth and makes for a nice burger compliment.

spaten is a pretty decent lager, nice and crisp, but this marzen is very mediocre, probably not as good as Gordon Biersch Marzen. Smell very lagerish.

Flaske. Lysegul gennemsigtig øl. Sur duft som en dårlig pilsner. Smagen er en kende bedre, men stadig ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Mundfylden er tilgengæld ok, med en anelse bitterhed der redder øllen på falderebet.
