COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Average Oktoberfest. Pretty amber color and a little fruity.

Palate like hard sour-dough pretzels, light on the hops... Ein mehr Stein, Bitte!!

Potent, but with a smooth body that makes the liters go down easily. Not sweet with a one dimentional caramel flavor like some, but toasty malt dominates. It is like drinking an artisan bread, the flavor of the best grain.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2003 This is a great Octoberfest. Delicious, malty aroma and flavor. Lightly hopped. One of my favorite German beers.

You won’t be disappointed in the flavor of this beer. My tastings have been from a bottle, I would love to find this served from a tap...

I’d love to try this from a fresh keg. Nicely malty with citrusy hops to balance.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2003 Clear, deep orange-copper color, nice white foamy head that leaves a thick lace in the glass. Has a light flowery and malty caremel aromas, sweet, balanced malts and clean tasting, medium body, a little thin semi-watery mouthfeel, this is a good oktoberfest.

Sweet smell and taste, amber color. Slightly floral and hoppy. Nice mouthfeel and finish.

Run of the mill Marzen. Amber color, weak head, taste of sweet syruppy fruits...blah.

When it comes to Oktoberfest beers, what beats an original? Nothing because this original is the best, although Paulaner is sneaking up at a close second.
