Tastes like a watered down version of Optimator. Not too bad, but not too good either. There’s really nothing else to say.

Decent brew, however pales compared to
Hacker. Seems to be quite lacking in the malt
category, which is what distinguishes the Hacker
brew as good to drink. Will pass on another six.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2003 A frost tipped golden mountain permeating with wholewheat pancakes and drops of sticky maple syrup...zest of orange w/ autumn spice and gleaming red berries floating in thin flutes of champagne..as dry as autumn air and the leaves begin to fall..

Elegant! Noble hops balance the malty sweetness. Nutty, bread-like aroma is in counterpoint with mild hops aroma. Lace on the glass, though the head does not linger. Wonderful mouthfeel and finish. The best Wies’nbier I’ve ever tasted!

Nice barley taste, but that’s about all it has going for it. A somewhat one-dimensional beer.

Nice head. Malty, sweet aroma. Taste sweet and malty with hints of caramel. Overall I enjoyed this beer.

The aroma was suprisingly full of honey, which disappeared with the head, as well as tea, bread, and almonds. Malt flavors are mild and grainy. I prefer hops in the background in a fest beer, but this one had a touch of bitterness in the finish that i don’t like. Above average. Note: mine was in a green bottle, and i’m suspicious about how fresh it was, so I’ll have to revisit this one.
ReRate: I found this to be much better this time around, undoubtedly a fresher sample. Awesome bready aroma, pumpernickel and whole wheat. Very dominant whole grain profile throughout. Super smooth texture, and highly quaffable.
