COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Very crisp. Just the right amount of hops.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2003 Sweet, caramel candy aroma. Robust head and vigorous fine-bubbled carbonation. Great lacing. Medium to dark copper/amber color, very clear. Initial impression is of some form of soda, malt soda?? Nice, caramel amber malt flavors mingling with some lightly bittering tea-ish hops. Aftertaste is sweet, bready caramel maltiness. Ceamy, effervescent mouthfeel. Very smooth beer all around. Recommended.

There’s a German restaurant in NE Minneapolis that serves this on tap in the fall. Smooth and sweet (not cloying) flavor that lends itself to boot drinking. I prefer it to Paulaner.

Not bad Octoberfest is one of my favorites, I don’t find the flavor of this quite as crisp an clean as Samuel Adams Octoberfest or a Beck’s.Good though!

A nice beer. Brought back memories of my Oktoberfest adventures in Munich.

Not at all the same taste as in the huge bier glasses that you get at Oktoberfest. An ok german beer, but not as nosy and flavorful as most.

The guy working in the supermarket grabbed me on my way out to tell me how great this beer was. Sure, I liked it, but I’ve had a lot better.

Like most german beers, it’s bitter aftertaste retracts from it’s potential to be a great beer. Paulaner is much better. Until I go to Oktoberfest in Munich I will have to pass.
