I have to say, I bought up nearly all the stocks at my local beer store.. kept going back because this one went down so well... would love to have it on a year round basis! Great malty aroma and flavor. excellnet hop bitterness to malty sweetness ration. Good head retention, and a really smooth on the palate! I have to say, this is my favorite Oktoberfest as of this review!

Pours a clear dark amber, with a light off-white head that doesn’t stick around too long. Nose is slightly bready, sweet caramel. taste follows suit - a nice, light, sweet breadiness couples with a lightly sweet caramel note. Very drinkable. Carbonation is middle of the road, over a medium light body, with just a hint of stickiness. Nice beer.

Slight caramel dates on the nose. Deep amber color, frothy head. Rich malt, some caramel, good bitter balance. Big carbonation, medium body, sautéed raisin finish. Malty with good bitterness, nice beer.

11.2 oz. bottle, consumed on 1-4-09. Musty aroma features bran muffin and continental European hops scents. Pours a clear, dull brass color with a small amount of thin beige head and good lacing. Flavor of lemon, butter, pie crust, honey, flowers, and pomegranate. Lingering sweetness. Light body. Creamy in the palate and reasonably lively. Not as crisp as many other lagers but still crisper than an ale. Easy to drink.

On tap. Light brown and filtered. Nose of malts and german yeasts. Taste is malty, a bit spicy, and a bit alcoholic for a 6 percent beer. Very thin. OK.
