Commercial Description:
Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Smells like malt liquor. Bottle pours to amber body with very thick head that holds up well. Taste is pretty smooth. Not sure I will have this one again, but not bad.

Nice spicy hop aroma over caramelized malts. In a ceramic mug so couldn’t really see the color. Flavor is clean malty with fairly high bitterness. Medium/light body and mouthfeel. Finish is clean and malty with touch of residual bitterness.

bottle, clear copor color, good intial head with decent retention and lacing. the initial nose is a pilsner green bottle skunk aroma, sweet malt extract comes into the picture after a longer sniff. medium to high carbonation makes for a sharp mouth feel. taste is much like the nose. a pilsner bite with a sweet smooth maltyness, some wheat characteristics on the back palate make way to a burnt malt aftertaste.

12 oz bottle, not impressed. Pours a nice amber color, with a medium foamy off-white head. Tastes of grain with a little sweetness. Some spice and hoppiness towards the finish.

On tap, clean, crisp roasted malt flavor. Nothing crazy, but nothing exceptional.

On tap, Deep amber color, aroma is very bready and toasty with some spiciness in the background. All malt. Tastes very balanced with the complex malts coming out. There is some sweetness, but its not over the top. This is a very nice example of the style and obviously fresh because it tastes much better than some of the bottled versions of this one I have had in the past.
