danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 Getting notebook online. Pours a beautiful amberish, full color. Has a good refreshing smooth taste. Great beer. chicagodri (1021), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 20, 2008 Pours copper with a thin white head. Heavy malt aroma. Nice malt flavor with a little bit of spice. Not amazing, but a decent beer for the fall. goldbrew (99), USA Sep 19, 2008 Extremely complex aroma. Thick chewy maltiness. Good for the special fall occasion but very thick and not exceptionally digestible. fidel (886), Livermore, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 Dark amber, Malty, sweet, smooth, caramel, hoppy, little nutty, slight spice.
rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Sep 18, 2008 Good beer, Dark amber body, with a lacy head. the head quickly goes away. The flavor is of slight hops, and clean, not very sweet, and not a awful left over taste. This is a good oktoberfest beer. tedovertu (259), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA Sep 17, 2008 Very balance flavor. A great mix of malt and hops. Dark amber color with quickly diminishing head. This is my first Oktoberfest beer so I will have to update this rating once I try a few others. bigrond (1043), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2008 Very impressive.
This beer is unlike any other Marzen I’ve had. The hops are apparent and it gives this brew a crisp flavor. Not sweetness at all. Yet, its still very smooth, easy to drink and it’s color is a perfect dark amber. jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Sep 16, 2008 Single rom Three Cellars Milweaukee.
A pretty basic Marzen. Sweet malty straigt forward.
