Commercial Description:
Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Great. One of my favorite Oktoberfests, just because it brings me back to a festival we have around here.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear and golden with 2 cm white bubbly head that is quickly diminishing. Aroma of a balance between hops and malts, although no particular aromas. Initial flavor has a bitter bite, similar to heine. Flavor balances out at the end with some malts and eventually over taken with sweet malt. Medium body, light carbonation, limited alcohol, limited lacing. Overall one of the best oktoberfest beers.

Bottle. Pours a translucent amber, copper color with very small, receding head that leaves lacing around the glass. The aroma smells of roasted malts, caramel, honey, nuts and alcohol (at 5.9% it is slightly more prominent in the nose). The beers flavor follows that of it’s aroma: the toasted malts and caramel really shine up front, followed by the sweet, honey flavor, some hops and just a tinge of alcohol. The mouthfeel of the beer is rather watery, but it helps to make the beer refreshing and drinkable. The alcohol and hops are actually masked quite well in this brew which leaves a sweet, roasted aftertaste in the mouth. A good example of a german oktoberfest.

Pours a clear dark amber with a medium thick creamy frothy off-white head. Lovely lightly toasted malt, sweet caramel, a bit spicy, some nuts, and a generous amount of noble hops in the aroma. This beer doesn’t let you forget that it is German or a lager at any point. Flavor is similar to aroma, med/light caramel toasty malt, slightly rich and nutty/vinous, with noble hops playing off ever so "German." At 5.9% the alcohol plays a small part in the flavor however just enough to know that you’re drinking a "strong" beer. Nice medium body, silky carbonation.

Brownish pour with healthy, foamy offwhite head. Light malt aroma with little hop. Smooth and a little hop bitterness. Pretty good and excellent stylistically.

One of my favorite marzens. The flavor was outstanding and very smooth. Perfectly balanced with the hops.
