incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA Aug 25, 2008 SLightly skunky aroma, flavor is watery, slight hops, and soap. Not really what i look for in my oktoberfest. Little sweet aftertaste, but overall a bit on the light side, needs more malt! dutch23mp (160), Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA Aug 24, 2008 12 oz bottle Perhaps I am spoiled but this good quality beer is in my opinion standard for the wonderful city of Munich. afireinside96 (817), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 Updated: Aug 29, 200812oz green glass bottle served in a lager glass. Green glass? Seriously, why? Amber-gold in color with a thin white head. Smells of grain, spicy noble hops, and a hint of skunk piss. Firm bitterness balance by sweet malts, earthy spiciness. Pretty big flavor from a lager. Very nice, just ditch the green bottles. PolakPorter (82), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 19, 2008 Quite nice lager her. Nice maltamount and balanced viscocity with minimul biscuitocity. dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 Ah yes, the first Oktoberfest of the year! Nice dark amber pour with thick off white head. Big malty aroma with a slight noble hop bitterness. Taste is a wonderful balance between the malt presence and the hops. Not the best in this style, but good. dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 14, 2008 12 oz bottle from Wine Warehouse. Hazy brown-red pour with three finger head, moderate retention, low lacing. Grainy aroma with sweet caramel notes. Grainy taste with notes of very faintly roasted malts and very subtle hops. Medium body. maniac4016 (114), bill clinton, Iceland Aug 14, 2008 pors nices amber color, with malty nose & excellant clarity. flavorss is nicely balanced between malth front, with hops drying out finish nicely, clean & very long on finish, althoough oktobers are just coming available this one is so far best oktoberfest yet in ’08. zappafan99 (462), Ascension Island Aug 7, 2008 Taste 8/8 Bottle (Date?)
