Ah yes, the first Oktoberfest of the year! Nice dark amber pour with thick off white head. Big malty aroma with a slight noble hop bitterness. Taste is a wonderful balance between the malt presence and the hops. Not the best in this style, but good.

12 oz bottle from Wine Warehouse. Hazy brown-red pour with three finger head, moderate retention, low lacing. Grainy aroma with sweet caramel notes. Grainy taste with notes of very faintly roasted malts and very subtle hops. Medium body.

Taste 8/8 Bottle (Date?) Looks: Nice gold body with a sticky white head. Aroma: Strong. Candy yeast, spicy hop, mild malt roast. Taste: Thin bodied. Like a malty pils. Sticky and caramel malt. A little spice.

Bottle at Oktoberfest party in Bangor. Malts and hops co-mingle well. The beer is a flatliner it has nice base flavor to work with but goes nowhere. That being said its a good heavy session beer. You can stay sober by eating wurst and pretzels.

Bottle. Poured dark gold with thick white head. Wonderful hoppy and malty aroma. Flavour just drops off the table with a flat ending. Thin body and a flattish finish. Acceptable, but a disappointment after such a fine start.

Beautiful amber-colored beer. Roast malt tones balanced by mellow (not crisp) hop flavor. Finishes slightly bitter and sweet. Unique.
