BeerThirtyCrew (4), USA does not count Feb 22, 2008 this shit is cripp! so good. 3 of these and you are way chillen. I think the alcohol content is higher than it says though. I could be wrong charlelos (14), SAN ANTONIO, Texas, USA Feb 20, 2008 this is one medium bodies brew that i truly liked. when i first tasted it it threw me for a loop. i didn’t know what to think of it cause it had a more balancing taste to it. the hops and the malt didn’t exceed each other. dang germans. BelgianBeerGal (1275), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 16, 2008 Updated: Oct 4, 2008Bottled and draught. Hazy copper colour with no head and slight carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. More caramel in the flavor with a hint of bread. Filling beer. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Feb 12, 2008 Sweet syrupy nose and palate. Lots of malt, amber in color, just a smooth sweet beer. A little hint of yeast in the finish, a nice rounded beer. Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 10, 2008 Updated: Nov 1, 2009Oct. 2006 - Kind of underwhelming. Copper colored pour with nice head. Bready aroma. Flavor was roasty and toasty bready with some sweet malt. Sort of nondescript.
Oct. 2009 - I have a bit more appreciation now. It’s as I described in 2006, but it’s a nice crisp flavorful lager with a good balance of sweet malt and toasty/bread notes. Dry finish. Not bad. SmellGood (314), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Feb 7, 2008 Not too overpowering for the Marzen amateur I am. Tastes nice and aftertaste is tolerable. A better Oktoberfest than most. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Feb 3, 2008 Pours amber with a white head. Has a mildly sweet flavor with a bitter finish. Its ok. Taverner (827), San Ramon, California, USA Feb 3, 2008 Great Marzen! Had this on tap at Teske’s Germania in San Jose. Good stuff, goes down easily. Copper colored, and the malts and hops balance well.
