Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Green bottle poured a clear amber with a minimal offwhite head. Aromas of carmel, bread, hint citrus and a light hint of skunk. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, sweet malt, carmel and a light hint of citrus with a crisp clean finish.

I think I expected too much from this beer, and to be honest I don’t know why. To me, it just tastes like Spaten with some carmel/malt flavors added to it. Not bad, but it wasn’t great either. I enjoy just regular Spaten more than this beer, which I was dissapointed about.

One of the best Octoberfest beers I’ve tried. Nice amber color. A very distinguished German flavor to the beer.

Nice amber-brown color with a somewhat persistent white head. Fair malty flavor with a nice, refined hop finish and fairly solid body.

Great frothy, white head on this one. Light brown pour with a strong pale malt aroma. Rich, sticky mouthfeel. Flavor is a bready, sweeter malt, but still with a good deal of paleness in there. Long bite in the aftertaste. Great German Beer!

Only had a few Oktoberfest beers, but this one had a nice crisp taste. Not too malty but just right.

Last Wednesday at Trooper Thorn’s. This just goes to show I still don’t get the Oktoberfest style, because I really didn’t enjoy this when apparently it is pretty good.

On tap. Golden brown appearance with a nice white head. Aroma was mostly caramel malt. Bitter taste that reminded me of rye malt. Not bad.
